The Boat
The M/V Dawg Bua started out its career as a
German military patrol vessel when it
was built in 1962. Constructed to the highest international
standards, its 107 ton steel hull makes this 28 meter sailing fun
machine solid, safe and secure.
 In Thai, Dawg Bua means 'Lotus Flower' - a symbol of calm and peace,
and an integral part of the Thai cultural and religious heritage.
According to Thai legend, it was Lotus flowers upon which the
newborn Buddha took his first seven steps.
 On
board the Dawg Bua, there are four separate entertainment areas. The
upper deck boasts a full service open air bar (featuring Heineken
Draft Beer) with intimate
booth seating for 40 people.
The outdoor star-gazing lounge is also
on the upper deck at the front end of the boat. Quiet and relaxed,
it is an ideal viewing area for the sunset cruise and a “chill-out”
area for the party cruise.
An enclosed air conditioned dance club
with a mega sound system, tons o f party lights and even a fog
machine is located underneath the star-gazing lounge. And there is a
second full service bar with its own open air dance floor and more
seating for up to 20 people.
