Are You Ready
for the Best Investment
in Thailand?
Get Ready for
Sea Dawgs Excitement Cruises!
Excellent Return and Way too Much Fun!
I
Look at the
website of the leading business brokers in Thailand and you will see
that of the 800 listings over 100 are bars, over 100 are
guesthouse/hotels and over 175 are restaurants. This should tell you
something significant about what kind of businesses are not doing so
well in Thailand.
If you ask
around, you will learn that 95% of all small businesses in Thailand,
especially those
owned or run by foreigners, go under before the end of their second
year. And you will find that it is much better to be one part of a
unique business than to own all of a business competing with
hundreds of other similar businesses.
For a limited
time you can become a partner in the resurrection of Sea Dawgs
Excitement Cruises – the only party boat in Thailand! This 28 meter
70 ton (nett) steel hull German built ex-military patrol boat will
have new high efficiency engines and generators to ensure trouble
free and highly economical operations. There will be a full bar with
two open air seating areas, an enclosed A/C bar and an A/C dance
“club” with DJ booth known as the Dawg Pound. It will have a superb
sound and lights system equal to any nightclub in Phuket. It has a
kitchen, three toilets and even six A/C cabins below for relaxation.
The
boat is licensed to carry 120 passengers per cruise and we have
scheduled sixteen cruises per week with an average ticket costing
THB 2,000 per person with Unlimited Free Shots! These include All
Night Extreme Mayhem Party Cruises; 24-hour
Round Trip Visa Run to Malaysia Party Cruise; Ferry to Koh Phi Phi
All Night Party Cruise (and back the next night); Romantic Sunset
Cruise and Family Oriented
Daytime Activities Cruise. You do the math.
4% blocks of
shares in the company are selling for only THB 2.5 million each,
which is less than it could cost to buy an existing beer bar from a
fleeing foreigner. Investors will share 96% of the profits until
they have recouped 100% of their investment so return on investment
should be fairly rapid. During this time, investors are also
entitled to cruise free at any time.
Below are the
answers to some questions from other potential investors:
1) I have been
here for nine years in which time there have been: a) three medical
"emergencies" (including SARS, bird flu and H1N1); b) Muslim
"insurrection" in the South; c) AIDS; d) bombings in Bali, Peshawar
and Mumbai and Bali again; e) extra-judicial "assassinations" of
2,500 suspected drug dealers and their families; f) a military coup;
g) airport closures by protesters; and h) the Tsunami, all of which
incited rumors of Thailand's demise and the end of tourism. To be
honest, for the first few years of these catastrophes, I believed
the end was coming also. But after seeing the resilience after the
Tsunami, I have
come to realize that there will always be tourists coming here short
of a nuclear war or another Black Plague. Yes, there are less
tourists here this year than last. By next high season, there will
be an increase again as the world economy recovers as I expect it
will, due to the active measures being taken by the governments of
the G8. Thailand and Phuket always seem to recover their tourist
numbers the season following the "tragedy". The US markets are
already up 30% since February.
The second
thing is that we only want to carry a maximum of eighty passengers
per cruise which means we need 1,280 passengers per week to operate
at 100% capacity. We only need 50% capacity to make a very good
profit and although there is a drop in tourist numbers, the tourist
arrivals are still up 30% over the numbers just before the Tsunami.
(see attached graph). With expected numbers of over 6 million coming
to Phuket, there will be an average of 200,000 or so tourists here
in any given high season week. To fill every cruise to capacity
every week of high season we only need to capture .6% of the market
which is extremely low, especially considering that the only other
"extraordinary"
nightlife venues are Fantasea and Simon Cabaret.
Third, we are
working on marketing special "Back from Iraq (and Afghanistan)"
cruises for troops returning from the wars. We did this in 2005 and
it was very successful. With adequate funding, we expect to enlist a
sales agent in every military unit. There were 5,700 U.S. troops
here recently on their way home. These alone could take up seven
Extreme Mayhem All Night Party Cruises every week for some time.
Fourth, we can
offer all Thai ticket agents/tour agents/sales agents a 40%
commission on ticket sales
and
still make our profit. The norm is 25% with some companies only
paying 20 and some paying 30. By keeping Sea Dawgs in the front of
their minds with a high commission, it will be the first thing they
recommend when tourists ask "What is there to do at night? or "What
can a family do during the day?" The agents operate soley by how
much money they can make on each sale so we will take advantage of
this.
2) We prefer
to buy brand new Man engines which will: a) be 100% reliable as
opposed to used ones which will need constant repair; b) provide
have a much faster cruising speed, meaning easier runs to Malaysia
and Koh Phi Phi; c) also be much more energy efficient which
will save us a lot of money in the long run since I don't think the
price of oil is going down in the near future.
3) Although
investors buying in from this point on will only make up 48% of the
shareholdings, 96% of the profits will go right to them until they
have recovered their entire investment, and only 4% to the original
shareholders. In other words, new investors will recover their
capital twice as quickly as they would with any other investments.
Once they have recouped 100% of their investment, they will continue
to receive the appropriate percentage of the profits according to
how many shares they own and for as long as the business is in
operation or until they sell their shares. Like any financial
investment, they will be the owners of the business.
4) Repayments
and the division of profits will be made after each high season
which we deem to be 15 May each year. This is because we need to
ensure that we maintain a substantial
working
capital reserve during the season due to our retaining only 4%.
Payments any earlier than that could cripple operations should any
kind of urgent financing be needed mid-season. If we are able to
continue operating during low season (although we don't include any
of this in our projections), which we did in 2005 for private
charters, profits from this season would be distributed on 15
November but only at the discretion of the directors based on the
same need for a working capital reserve for the upcoming high
season. Remember, please that it is to our advantage to pay off the
investors as quickly as possible so we can also receive income over
and above the 4% we have allocated to ourselves.
Lenders are
also welcome with a guaranteed return on investment of 100% which
should take
about two to three years, again with 96% of profits going directly
to repaying the loan until it is paid off in full.
Do not delay
in taking advantage of this opportunity. There are only twelve
positions left for a total of
THB 30 million and we expect them to be sold soon. We can send you a
complete business plan, our fantastic brochures plus sample magazine
ad and further information at any time.
